Live out Nannies and Caregivers

Who They Are

Live-out nannies typically have worked for several years as live-in nannies but have met the requirements of permanent residency and are now living on their own in your community.

Some have families who have migrated from their home country and have responsibilities of their own. They may require a position with fixed hours within a commuting distance from their home.

Fit for Your Family

This is an excellent option for families who do not have the room for a live-in nanny or those that live in metropolitan areas with good access to public transportation.

However, if flexible schedules are necessary or transportation is not available, a live-out caregiver may not be the best option. 

Current wages for live-out caregivers are approximately $15.00 per hour plus overtime.  If you require a live-out driver, be prepared to pay a premium.  Live-out drivers with their own vehicle are a rare commodity so expect to pay for this luxury.
