In order to be accepted as a Diamond candidate, you must truly be exceptional. We set very high standards for our candidates and only select individuals with experience and personal skills.  We select our candidates based on the following:

If we believe that your skills, personality and experience will positively reflect the quality of our caregivers, we will do everything to find you a perfect employer. If we feel that we cannot help you, we will recommend other job finding resources.

Diamond Personnel has placed over 5,000 caregivers in loving and wonderful Canadian homes. We ensure that Diamond nannies are always paid according to provincial labour standards and our employers must abide by all laws governing the employment of live-in caregivers.   

Diamond Personnel does not charge recruitment fees. In compliance with federal and provincial laws governing the recruitment of foreign live-in caregivers, employers must cover all recruitment and transportation costs.

Diamond families need exceptional caregivers.  We require our nannies to present current (within the last 12 months) first aid and CPR training certificates.  We also expect our nannies to have successfully completed a caregiver training program.  In Hong Kong, you may take these programs through the YMCA www.ymcahk.org.hk/jobs or Canadian Caregiver Training Program www.ccti-hk.com.  The skills you learn through these programs will give you the confidence and knowledge to be the best you can be in your new job in Canada.  Your training must be completed within the last 12 months.  You will also be required to take a free online personality screen. The results will provide us with information that will help us place you successfully with a family that matches your values and personality.

*Please note: In accordance with the new laws of Ontario protecting live-in caregivers, if you are planning on working in Ontario we will not be able to act as your recruiter and your licensed immigration consultant.

As a Diamond caregiver, you will be invited to attend our two major social functions that we host each year: our holiday party in December and our barbecue party in the summer.

Unlike other agencies, Diamond Personnel will offer you ongoing support and ensure that you are matched with a wonderful employer.

All applicants are required to sign our Applicant Code of Ethics.

I hereby agree that I will:

1) Provide Diamond Personnel with factual information.

2) Keep all information provided to me about employers and their families strictly confidential and I will not share this information with friends and family.

3) Arrive on time for interviews.

4) Cancel appointments due to illness or emergency only by calling the employer directly and re-scheduling in a timely fashion.

5) Contact Diamond Personnel within one hour of the interview to provide feedback.

6) Be accessible by phone, since a lack of contact will result in lost opportunities.

7) Provide contact information on all past employers so employment may be verified.

8) Provide valid work permits, landed status documents, picture ID and other certificates that will support your educational or vocational background.

9) Provide truthful, accurate information regarding all aspects of your application.
