We select our candidates based on the following:

2) Education and training
3) Work experience, skills and job progression
4) Personality, work ethic, attitude
5) References
If we believe that your skills, personality and experience will positively reflect the quality of our caregivers, we will do everything to find you a perfect employer. If we feel that we cannot help you, we will recommend other job finding resources.
Diamond Personnel provides professional preparation, training, placement and immigration services to local and overseas caregivers. We have placed over 2,500 caregivers in loving and wonderful Canadian homes. We ensure that Diamond nannies are always paid according to provincial labour standards and our employers must abide by all laws governing the employment of live in caregivers.
There is no fee for job placement. Diamond does offer other services, THE JOB SKILLS ADVANTAGE™ and DIAMOND IMMIGRATION SERVICES to our caregivers which are completely optional. There is no requirement that a caregiver engage in our programs to be presented to an employer for consideration. However, Diamond caregivers who take advantage of our training and preparation have a competitive edge in the marketplace. We will present all candidates that meet the Diamond standards and screening process.

DIAMOND IMMIGRATION SERVICES
Comprehensive and personal services provided by our licensed immigration consultant.
- Preparation and consultation for work permit with the Canadian Embassy overseas
- Preparation of application for work permit changes once in Canada
- Consultation and preparation of application forms for Permanent Residency for applicant and family members
- Consultation on immigration matters including re-entry visas, live-in caregiver program
- Representation services before Citizenship and Immigration Canada
As a Diamond caregiver, you will be invited to attend our two major social functions that we host each year: our holiday party in December and our barbecue party in the summer.
Unlike other agencies, Diamond Personnel will offer you ongoing support and ensure that you are matched with a wonderful employer.
All applicants are required to sign our Applicant Code of Ethics.
I hereby agree that I will:
1) Provide Diamond Personnel with factual information.
2) Keep all information provided to me about employers and their families strictly confidential and I will not share this information with friends and family.
3) Arrive on time for interviews.
4) Cancel appointments due to illness or emergency only by calling the employer directly and re-scheduling in a timely fashion.
5) Contact Diamond Personnel within one hour of the interview to provide feedback.
6) Be accessible by phone, since a lack of contact will result in lost opportunities.
7) Provide contact information on all past employers so employment may be verified.
8) Provide valid work permits, landed status documents, picture ID and other certificates that will support your educational or vocational background.
9) Provide truthful, accurate information regarding all aspects of your application.
