Congratulations! You have made the decision to apply to Canada's Best Nanny agency. You are now one step closer in your journey to Canada. 

Since 1992, Audrey and her staff have been traveling abroad to recruit caregivers for our Canadian families. Since 1997, Hong Kong has been an excellent source of nannies with superb training and experience. Audrey and her staff travel to Hong Kong every eight weeks to consult with candidates in person. Diamond Personnel is Hong Kong's ONLY licensed Canadian agency!

NEW in 2008 - we are recruiting skilled and experienced caregivers from Ecuador and Thailand.  Please register on our website under the caregiver application.

When you apply to our overseas offices, we will ask you to fill out an application telling us about yourself. We want to know about your experience, your training and your skills. You will be interviewed by one of our consultants, either in person or by web cam. If we determine that you are a suitable candidate for overseas placement, we will work quickly and efficiently to find you a Canadian family that is looking for the skills and personality that you offer! Once we are able to match you with an employer in Canada, you will need to finish processing all your papers and then make your way here!

When you become a Diamond caregiver, you get exclusive access to the Diamond Package. The services offered in the Diamond Package will greatly enhance your profile and will give you the professional skills and confidence to improve your success!

Before entering Canada, you must undergo a complete medical screening and police clearance in order to obtain a work visa. Once you have been approved by the Canadian Embassy abroad, you will be issued a visa to travel to Canada. Your work permit will be issued upon entry to Canada. Your new employer will meet you at the airport upon your arrival. 

We offer all of our overseas nannies consultations and orientations before they begin their travel to Canada. We will help prepare you for Canadian customs, culture and climate. We will also assist you with your travel arrangements to Canada to ensure that you arrive here quickly and safely!

Once you are in Canada, Diamond staff will offer you ongoing support and encourage. You will also be invited to two parties each year;  a great opportunity for you to meet other Diamond nannies and Diamond staff.

Every year, we place approximately 100 caregivers from abroad with our Canadian families, and our numbers are growing each year.
